Specialty Restaurants - Dining Reservation Information

Published 12/01/2016 09:52 PM   |    Updated 03/28/2018 09:45 PM

Like any destination restaurant, reservations are highly recommended. Reservations can be requested prior to your cruise on Carnival.com by accessing 'My Cruise Manager'. Requested dates and times will be honored on a first come, first served basis. If the requested time is not available, the next available time slot will be assigned. A reservation confirmation email will be sent to you within 48 hours of your online request.

Reservations can also be made on board at the specialty restaurant or by calling from your stateroom. Walk-ins are welcome as well and will be seated, space permitting.

If you find the need to cancel or change your reservation, we appreciate you contacting us by simply replying to the email confirmation you received from the specialty restaurant and advise us of your cancellation or change. For the Chef's Table, there is a $25 USD fee for cancellations made within 24 hours of your Chef's Table reservation.

The Chef's Table

An exciting fine dining option for our guests – The Chef’s Table. This one-of-a-kind culinary experience includes an exquisite multi-course private dinner hosted by one of the line’s master chefs along with a private champagne reception and a personalized tour of the galley. A select group of 12-16 guests will enjoy champagne and hors d’ouevres hosted by the ship’s chef de cuisine. The chef then escorts the group on a personalized tour to see the galley in operation, providing participants with a unique perspective on Carnival’s extensive food and beverage operations.

The evening concludes with a sumptuous full-service dinner with delicious appetizers, entrees and desserts created by the line’s master chefs as well as red and white house wine. Depending on the vessel, the meal takes place in non-traditional dining venues throughout the ship – the galley, library, conference center, etc. The Carnival Vista and Carnival Horizon both feature a dining room specifically for Chef’s Table with window views into the galley. What’s exciting about this experience is that it is anything but typical! Seasons and ports and whatever the Chef is currently delving into will influence the final outcome. This could be flavors, ingredients from local sources or techniques. It is a chance for the Chef to showcase the best of his/her abilities and share it with those lucky few.

  • The cover charge is $75 USD per person on most ships; on Carnival Breeze, Carnival Dream, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Magic, Carnival Panorama and Carnival Vista, the cover charge is $95 USD per person. An automatic 15% gratuity will be added to the cover charge and applied directly to the guest’s Sail & Sign account. Please note: For reservations made prior to the price increase to $95 USD, the original price will be honored.
